THE JOURNEY

As we celebrate our 25th anniversary beginning this July, we take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey that has brought us to where we are today. From our humble beginnings in Spring Branch and Bear Creek, Albion Hurricanes FC (AHFC) has grown into a thriving community of players, families, administrators, and coaches.

We are beyond grateful to everyone who has been a part of our success. It's because of you that AHFC continues to be a leader in youth soccer, and we look forward to the exciting future we will build together in the next 25 years.

CELEBRATING 25 YEARS OF MILESTONES

1989 – Hurricanes Soccer Club Established
·       The journey begins with a focus on youth soccer in the Bear Creek area.

1996 – Albion Youth FC Established
·       A new chapter in Spring Branch, building a foundation for the future.

2000 – Formation of Albion Hurricanes FC (AHFC)
·       AHFC formed with 250 players, bringing together two strong soccer communities.

2003 – Junior Hurricanes Recreational Program
·       Opening doors for recreational players to develop their skills.

2009 – AHFC Establishes West Campus at Katy Park
·       Expanding the club’s reach and facilities to accommodate growth.

2012 – AHFC Signs Agreement for Fields at Cullen Park
·       A major step toward developing state-of-the-art facilities for the club’s athletes.

2012 – AHFC Joins Girls ECNL National Platform
·       Elevating the competitive opportunities for girls' teams.

2013 – Cullen Park Fields Developed
·       Two fully lit and irrigated soccer fields are added to the club's infrastructure.

2015 – Expanding Across Houston
·       The club opens new programs in Northwest (Cy-Fair) and Southwest (New Territory).

2016 – Campbell Road Sports Park
·       AHFC develops its premium soccer facility at Campbell Road, a significant milestone in player development.

2017 – Boys ECNL and AHFC Royals
·       The club joins the Boys ECNL National Platform and launches the AHFC Royals franchises for both men and women.

2018 – AHFC Royals Compete at Pre-Professional Levels
·       AHFC Royals Men join USL2, and the Women’s franchise joins WPSL.

2020 – 2021 - Launch of New Programs
·       The 5v5 Small Sided Soccer League (SSDL) is introduced, alongside the Girls and Boys ECNL Regional League Programs.

2021-2024 – AHFC Royals Triumph and add Academy Platform
·       The Royals Women’s and Men’s teams achieved remarkable success, including multiple conference championships and national quarter-finals appearances.
·       AHFC Royals USL Academy Program League Format commences.

2023 – AHFC's Continued Growth and Expansion
·       AHFC expanded its reach into the Beaumont/Golden Triangle area with the introduction of AHFC East, strengthening our commitment to soccer development and offering more opportunities for players across the region. With new programs and continued growth, AHFC is poised for an even brighter future.

LOOKING AHEAD

Looking ahead, we are more excited than ever about what the future holds for AHFC. With a continued commitment to excellence, we are planning new initiatives to support our players and families. From new programs to expanding our facilities and competitive teams, the next 25 years will be filled with opportunities for all.

As we reflect on all we've accomplished, we are even more motivated to create new pathways for players to grow, compete, and thrive. The journey is far from over, and we look forward to achieving even more together as a club.
