The AHFC Goalkeeping Program creates an environment where goalkeepers are mentally and physically engaged. The focus of the program is teaching the required foundation principles to be a competent goalkeeper. As our goalkeepers progress through the program, depth will be added to further their development. AHFC Goalkeepers will affect the game through consistency of execution, leadership, communication, and confidence.
THE AHFC GOALKEEPING TRAINING PHILOSOPHY
The Goalkeeping schedule is designed to be individualized and focused for each of our goalkeepers.
Our Campus program goalkeepers, Central, Cy-Fair, West and Southwest, will attend goalkeeping sessions at their campus. In addition, our goalkeepers are welcome to attend any other Campus or Elite program session should it work with your schedule.
Our Elite goalkeepers will train together at Cullen Park, and are welcome to attend training with the ECNL goalkeepers, and ECNL teams every other week. Please see the Elite and ECNL training dates specified in the schedule.
Our ECNL goalkeepers will train at Campbell Road Sports Park, and are also welcome to attend the Campus, and Elite goalkeeping sessions.
