2010 Soccer Ball!
We are excited to announce Albion Hurricanes FC’s second fundraising gala. The 2010 Soccer Ball will be on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at the Red Oak Ballroom, CityCentre. Invitations and t-shirt order forms will be distributed in the coming months. In the meantime, we have attached some preliminary information about this fantastic event. Please mark your calendars. The 2010 Soccer Ball Chairs
The Junior Hurricanes Soccer League (JHSL) is led by professional USSF(United States Soccer Federation) licensed staff and is designed for boys & girls who want to play and have fun in a safe & developmentally appropriate environment.
This is the only local Junior Soccer Program instructed by professionals
The JHSL will be conducted at 3911 Campbell Rd, Houston, TX 77080 (Between Clay and Kempwood) Directions can be found at www.albionhurricanes.org.
All Friday practices and Sunday games will be held at the Campbell Road location throughout the season.
JHSL is open to ALL PLAYERS and is not restricted by residency rules
LEAGUE OPEN TO BOYS & GIRLS: U5-U12 AS OF August 1, 2010.
The program begins with 2 evaluation sessions to assess the player’s ability before team formation. AHFC will also accept existing teams from other leagues.
Assessment sessions will be held on Friday, 9/10 and 9/17 5:30-6:30pm for U5/U6. 6:30-7:30pm for U7/U8. 7:30- 8.30pm for U9-U12. Once teams are formed, regular practices will be held each Friday, 5:30-6:30pm for U5/U6. 6:30-7:30pm for U7/U8. 7:30- 8:30pm for U9-U12.
JHSL Fall Schedule
September 10 – 1st evaluation session and Parents Meeting
September 17 - 2nd evaluation session and Volunteers/ Managers meetings
September 22 - Teams and rosters released.
September 24 - First Team practices
September 26 - First game
November 14 – Last game
December 5 and December 12 are rainout options.
Cost: $120 for 5/6 year olds and $135 for 7-12 year olds, price includes Adidas Junior Hurricanes Jersey, 1 pair shorts & socks.

AHFC – Reading FC (England) Pro Soccer Alliance:
AHFC has just finalized its 3rd Annual Reading FC Pro Soccer Camp for it’s Premier League Players with over 120 participants. The camp has allowed our Premier players the opportunity to experience what the top youth players in England would go through in the younger programs of a professional program in England.
As part of our exclusive Regional partnership & in addition to this opportunity, 10 AHFC players will be traveling to England on Sunday, August 1st, to “live the dream” of training with Reading FC, a top English Professional Club, for a week of intensive training.
We wish the following players all the best & hope they bring back great experiences back to their AHFC team: 97 Boys: John Schroeder, Andy Gaitan, David Patterson -96 Boys: Harrison Veith, JJ Aiken, Matt Dorsey, Elo Ozumba - 95 Boys: Forrest Denio, Mario Toro, Josh Durham.

Congratulations to the AHFC 96B Blue, AHFC 95B Blue, AHFC 94B Blue & AHFC 93B Blue teams on qualifying for Region III Premier League West (PLW). They are joined by AHFC 96G Blue, AHFC 95G Blue, AHFC 94G Blue & AHFC 93G Blue teams. AHFC is the only South Texas club to qualify teams in every age group; this is a remarkable achievement. The AHFC 97B Blue, AHFC 97G Blue A, AHFC 96G Blue B, with AHFC 95G Black, AHFC 94G Blue W, and AHFC 93G Black in the May playoffs.
